Component Variation
The system is composed of three evolutions derived from the various assembly phases. Each phase is assigned to a particular function of the system due to their structural and topological qualities. For example, the unit created after the initial set of folds is assigned to surfaces that function as floors, due to the smooth surface, rigidity, and compact triangulation after assembly. The final phase of the unit serves as ceilings due to its greater transparency, sculptural qualities, and ability to house mechanical and lighting systems. In addition, the scalar change of the unit gradually increases as you proceed further from the floor plane. Scalar evolution is typically initially at points of curvature where the polar units have different scales.

System Growth
The system initial direction of growth for the system is determined by the placement of the artifacts. The system travels in the direction of the artifact following the contours of the existing structure. If the system travels a distance further then five times its width on a single plane it will begin to merge into that plane, regardless of its materiality. When growth nears an artifact the system will curve and elevate to a level equivalent to the height that the artifact’s function is performed. In addition the flat surface allocated for that artifact will be the same scale and form as the spaced carved out through the period of loading and firing a single round of the weapon. After the artifact display space is created the system growth will occur in the direction of the proceeding artifact by means of the opposite horizontal plane used to approach the previous artifact. As a result, the system produces a meandering constant changing form and creates a variety of spaces.
